The elegant 'Grande Dame' of Camps Bay is one of the last remaining original residences that has been lovingly restored to her former glory. With Cape Town's famous Table Mountain and The 12 Apostles range as a backdrop, Bingley Place with its view of the sea and mountains from every room, nestles directly above the secluded and intimate Barley Bay beach and only a four minute stroll to trendy Camp's Bay beach and promenade. This boutique Camps Bay accommodation, is fully serviced Mondays to Fridays and can be rented out as a five bedroom ensuite self-catering villa with pool, or as two separate self-contained homes. There is no internal access between the two floors so they have their own entrances.
The stunning upper level of Bingley Place is known as Bingley House and has three gorgeous bedrooms all ensuite. The two main bedrooms have king-sized beds, the finest percale linen, ocean views and the added feature of large baths opening up into the bedrooms. The third bedroom (two singles which, on request, may be made up into a king-sized bed) has its own private patio with views of the ocean and mountain as well as a secluded outdoor Victorian bath in the garden!
The modern open plan, fully equipped kitchen looks through the sitting room with fireplace, to the glass enclosed balcony which can be opened up completely to bring the sea and mountains into the house! The kitchen also leads into an elegant dining room with beautiful eight-seater Victorian table plus piano! From the dining room you step out onto the pool deck which is perfect for elegant entertaining and dipping into the crystal clear pool which overlooks the sea not by 30m away! To stay in Cape Town and not visit Camps Bay is unforgivable, but to stay in Camps Bay accommodation and not stay at Bingley Place is almost criminal! We warn you, however, that once you have stayed here, you won't want to leave!
